Is Real Estate in Milan Picking Up?

There seem to be more buyers and more showings on my listings lately than a month or two ago. I even had one of my listings sell to a new employee for the Toyota Research Facility that will be going in in York Township. For the time-being he will work out of Ann Arbor until the facility is built.

With the recent news of Google coming into Ann Arbor to set up their AdWords center which will employ about 1000 people, we may see a great deal more activity in the next months. Google does not plan to wait for a facility to be built, but will start hiring now and rent space if they have to. The salary range of their employees will put many of them into our Milan price ranges.

At this time we still have over a year's supply of housing on the market available for purchase, but I'm for the first time in a year feeling very optimistic!!!
